I came to see Aerospace Center’s operations in Rocket City. I had an inspiring hang out with three legendary Aerospace engineers: Preston Jones ( Former Associate Director), Mike Hannon (Former Division Chief, GNC), and Jim Turner ( Former Associate Director of Engineering) of NASA MSFC. They help our students at Aerospace Center’s Huntsville Digital Engineering Design Center. Our students are so privileged to learn rocket science from these legends. Despite my knowledge in aerospace engineering being minuscule compared to their experience, they always treat me like one of their own. Maybe this is where I belong, right here among them.

I came to give a talk at the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Inventors' Recognition Luncheon. This was my first time publicly discussing our Innovation as A Service concept. This is an idea in motion to de-stratify and democratize the innovation ecosystem. We want to build a Public Innovation Architecture with a creative, open innovation ecosystem to foster engineering and manufacturing innovation. It will speed up the capability development of regional small and medium manufacturers with democratic and open access to use-inspired R&D. The Public Innovation Architecture is a way to disrupt the traditional R&D process by de-stratifying innovation ecosystems to ensure broad and affordable access to innovation processes.
